I GOT SIDETRACKED. I was browsing for inspiration on the internet to help me with the Cinderella piece I’ll be working on. But I ended up reaching for my sketchpad and started working on this.

It’s funny how I also realised that I really don’t post finished drawings at all. Sorry about that, I get a little too excited to post stuff every now and then. Drawing other details first before the face somehow always works for me. The only problem with it, is that it gets a little bit messy and dirty by the time I finish the face especially when I use charcoal and all sorts of pencils.

On an unrelated note, I get asked every now and then why I write very little on most posts. Well, the writing part has always been a work in progress. For one, my illustrations always start with a sketch which I work on digitally after. It will be absolutely boring to write about it every time. And this, I think, is the longest post I’ve written (for something art-related) since I started this blog. :)
